    Coaxial aerial help

Friend of mine has a old telewest connection in his room but isnt a subscriber anymore - hes wondering if he can use the connection as an aerial for his tv?

    Any ideas

How do you mean? Do they relay the analogue UHF signal over the cable connection? Or just that the cable connection might make a (very ineffective, but slightly better-than-nothing) aerial?

the signal was carried over the old analogue cable connection, however it isn't (as far as I know) over the digital one. You used to get the 5 main channels and a couple of others like E4.
