We are currently looking to purchase a coffee machine. One which was recommended was the Nespresso.
The only problem with the above is we prefer full mugs of coffee.

Unsure of whether to stick to the idea of a capsule machine or just buy a filter machine

Any advice would be appreciated. Budget £100

Thanks

Just bought one of these filter machines and it's great

Delonghi ICM15210 1.3 Litre 900 Watts Filter Coffee Maker 10-15 Cup Capacity, Black amazon.co.uk/dp/…T47

If you like full mugs, buy a filter machine. Easier to brew and gives much more coffee than espresso.

We use a Tassimo ,only really use the Columbian pods they make a full mug of coffee.
Ive seen some people with Nespresso use 2 pods to get a full cup, might work out expensive tho oO

don't get a machine, get a stove top moca pot.

much better coffee than any of these pod machines.

Thanks for the replies

Can the Moka pots be used on an electric hob?

If you want full mugs go for Dolce Gusto but the pods are not cheap (but cheaper than Costa and co). And you can buy refillable pods for it. As an alternative the Aeropress always gets good reviews.

If you are thinking of a Nespresso, check out the deals.... example :

yes will work fine on electric, only issues I think are on induction hobs with the standard moka pots, but they do a stainless steel one that can be used on those
