The order will most likely be rejected if you buy online for delivery. However, you can still use the code on multiple items to collect in store. Quite a few people have done this succesfully

That post is potentially a load of rubbish as well. The original vouchers did not contain the amendment to T&C's regarding "one item only". If your voucher pre-dates the re-send, you have a serious case for purchasing the items.

If they do not honour, they don't have the legal right to retrospectively add conditions to the voucher as they did not disclaim such amendments. I would seriously consider contacting Trading Standards if you have used an original voucher with the unchanged T&C's.

People are sending out mixed reviews as to whether they have purchase multiple items recently or not. I think some are having success. Personally, i'd be prepared to spend the day on the phone arguing your case if you really want the items.

Comet don't have a leg to stand on with this, they'll get caught out if they force people to stick to criteria they have not originally set.

I ordered mine for store collect, if you read the other thread you will see I had a lot of issues with the store in question trying to purchase items but got there eventually. I bought 2 goods so that was multiple items.

Also, I did actually create a thread last night to monitor peoples experiences with this as a resource for those struggling to purchase, but unfortunately, one of the moderators saw fit to delete it without explanation. Sad reflection on this site really.

and that post is potentially rubbish too. Comet have every right to reject purchases. its up to them who they sell to. Love to see how you'd go about proving that the T&Cs were changed for a voucher code in court.

The voucher did not have any disclaimer regarding futher changes of T&C's, furthermore, they failed to notify of a change in terms & conditions. I have 2 e-mail documents, one that states 40% off with the original T&C's and then another e-mail containing a 5% voucher (which I did not re-enter) with an amended T&C without any notification.

The line of business I work in means that we have lot's of submittions to court proceeding and electronic mails are now permissable as evidence.
I'm not saying Comet would 'win' as such, I really doubt they would enjoy the publicity of a court case, nor have I suggested anywhere that taking them to court would be an eventual outcome.

Comet have raised a stealth revision of T&C's without notifying the consumer. Furthermore, they waived the right to any such revision upon the issue of the original competition which did not contain any indication of option for said revision. I think the consumer has an extremely solid case against Comet in this one.

My advice was based on what's actually happening, not on what the (ever changing) T&Cs say.
Hasn't stopped me from picking up multiple items instore. :whistling:
