Comet Returns:

I recently purchased a Western Digital drive from Comet but I just relised I purchased the wrong item. I still have all the orginal box and items it came with but the item has been used. Will I be entitled to a full refund if I package it all up? Or is there no way around this?

Thanks

Pack it back up as best as possible and take it back saying it was an unwanted gift, worked for me ;-)

Nope, Only way you can get a full refund is if the item is sealed/unused and they will usually open and check it.

only if it is faulty

only if it is faulty

If its faulty they will exchange it or attempt to get it repaired.

Tell a white lie - say the drive is clicking and is therefore on the way out.
