Complaining to PC world

Essentially was on hold a lot, and as I dont have a landline was charged 25p a minute, and my £10 top up which I put on today is all gone!

Essentially ordered a new PC 3 weeks ago, arrived with a bashed box and not working, claimed to sent returns label, 10 days later nothing, so I phoned and they promised an engineer visit today and a phone call, got neither, so phoned back and the customer advisor themselves said the system shows as him arriving and doing the job! and if he hadnt they will rearrange, but my credit went before it was arranged.

I have already spent over £15 in phone calls to them in the last few days and feel I should get it back!

What should I do

put it in writing to the secretary of the managing director and explain everything

Just what I was thinking:-D only do it from a phonebox and use this number "0800 0565732" taken from saynoto0870.com supposed to be same menus as normal customer service number:p

just email them on the contact email address on the website and ask they call you on your mobile. Ask them when they call for money off due to bad service and your out of pocket expenses.
The bank gave me £100 this morning for a daft mistake they made(not my account just added value service problem)
If you get the right people they will sort it for you!!

That was the first thing I did as I know about the saynoto870 site but the line is constantly engaged no matter what time you call.

Off out now anyway as I will try and phone but needs to be from a callbox(which the nearest one is 15 minutes walk!)

Good news I hope, managed to get through on the Tech Guys 0800 number and no switchboard just right through to an operator, who rearranged it for Wednesday(I hope)

u should have rejected the goods under the sale of goods act and requested a replacement, you may still be able to do that ask trading standards

Oh I can get a replacement but it would take over a week and an engineer supposidly 2 days.

Anyway they failed to turn up AGAIN. ffs what next
