Hi im looking for a high up position in Dell to write to and try and either get a refund or get a permedant solution to a promblem with a 1000 pound laptop


anyone know one

the solution they give us are ust not working so am looking for a higher postioned person to email not the reg complaints department.
i just rang them and complained and they sent me some compensation.
is there a free number as i need to ring them as my dell laptop is playing aboput the bluetooth no longer works for some strange reason

no its a connection to the internet problem, also loads of things have gone wrong. there CS is awful and keep you on the line for ages then sold my mrs some software that would fix the problem.... which i aint happy about!

they also keep saying its a software problem and that means they have no responsibilty. for £1000 i expect more.
must be a real pain to move.

Any chance you could give us the low-down on the problems. Maybe we can offer you some advice on how to get them fixed as well as chasing Dell for compensation for your problems.

I am not disputing whether Dell are to blame or not. They should at least have the support staff to deal with any problems that may arise, software or otherwise. If they don't though, I am sure there are plenty of enthusiasts here who have the knowledge to help you out.

I have had several problems with Dell too since getting my XPS at Christmas. I've had to get the engineer out twice, once to fix the laptop, and then again once to fix the laptop after the engineer managed to break my optical drive and USB port and keyboard while fixing the previous problem. Whilst waiting for him to come out the last time they were too busy to send someone out, so just didn't bother, but didn't think to try to contact me to let me know that they wouldn't be sending anyone out. Now after the last visit my laptop won't close properly either. I'm a bit peed off, I paid for next day on site service and get anything but, and don't think I'll get Dell again!

I complained and got a wireless mouse and keyboard, wasn't worth the effort of complaining to be honest,
When you go through to CS ask to speak to Michael Dell the CEO of Dell. He has a team inplace to answer calls on his behalf.
