update 13/05/2022: cashback paid out a few days ago, full £210 promised, very noice

update 23/04/2022: purchase appeared on my account today, looking good so far 👌

Hey guys, just made a £2100 purchase on eBay and used complete savings for the first time, hoping to receive £210 cashback, I know the purchase might take some time to appear on the dashboard, how long does it usually take to appear? And how reliable are they with manual cashback claims (in-case the order doesn't track)?

Basically I cleared my ebay cookies, logged into my ebay account, then I closed the ebay tab, made sure there were no adblock extensions enabled, accessed ebay through complete savings, clicked on the item I wanted, clicked buy it now and made the purchase, hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

No you've missed the point with that.

You can still get cashback from any site you want but to claim the £15 back each month you have to purchase something through the affiliate company you originally signed up with.

It appears for new users that's the case, for old users any of the the websites is still suffice.

In my experience it normally takes 3 or 4 days to show. Have never submitted a claim before, I don’t remember it not tracking an eBay purchase I’ve made so I reckon you should be fine.

I read a lot of reviews and they were mainly complaints about people being charged without noticing, people need to read t&c before giving in their card details man

By cashback do you mean Topcashback? If so, you may have miscalculated the amount as I believe it's 1% rather than the 10% you've calculated

I've never used complete savings, but by the looks of it they give at least 10% cashback on certain companies, ebay being one of those.

I wonder tho if its true etc, as that seems quite a good deal.

Anyone with any feedback on Complete Savings that can comment?

I use complesavings and have no complaints at all, I've had not had a single purchase rejected.

I've never had such a massive amount to claim on but can't see why it would be any different though, just remember there is a limit how much you can claim back if I remember correctly which is about £250
  10. Avatar
its £250 in a month, 10% for ebay and also 10% for Tesco Groceries / Lenovo etc. Cashbash tracks fast and evan high amounts get paid fast, much better than topcashback and quidco. Customer Service is also good

Completesavings gets a bad rep on here - completely unjustified in my experience. I’ve been using them for over 3 years and so far I’ve had about £1800 in cashback.
You just have to remember to claim the £15 monthly bonus every 4 weeks and it essentially won’t cost you anything to be a member.
It’s a hugely under-rated cashback scheme and so much better than Quidco or TCB.
Payments are made much quicker than those other two and the cashback rates are much higher.

No invite but you need to sign up through an eBay or trainline purchase to make it worthwhile instead of direct through the website (may be other sites as well you can do this but not sure)

If you sign up direct through the site it's cost £15 a month but your monthly cashback is only £5 whereas if yoh sign up through trainline or ebay you get £15 cashback so doesn't cost a penny.

Just look for the banner saying "do you want to each £16 or something along those lines and hi through that. I'll try and get a screenshot in a bit

Thank you !! I had an email from Trainline saying that from last week and I have just signed up ! I have to buy a treadmill on Ebay fro the amount of £800 so I hope to get a 10% cashback Any tricks you would recommend to absorb the cost of the monthly fee ?

I think I’ve only ever missed one monthly payment in the 3 years I’ve been with them.
I invariably always buy something on one of their partner websites anyway so always claim my £15 back but even if there is a month where you don’t buy anything online you can shop at somewhere like Superdrug and buy some toothpaste online and pick it up in store. You can claim your £15 cashback for anything, no matter how small the item. I’ve bought a 99p plug at Ebay and claimed my £15 monthly bonus on that - and got 10p cashback!!

Thank you for the info, but when it says monthly bonus it says " Every calendar month, we help you to save even more money by claiming a £15.00 Monthly Bonus.
All you need to do is make a booking with Trainline and then send us your proof of purchase. " So you say you can buy anything online to get the £15 back but that state needs to be a train ticket ? Also, I just made the purchase on Ebay using the link on their website but how can I know if has tracked correctly ? Thanks
  18. Avatar
Doesn’t need to be a train ticket - that monthly bonus is just for your first month. After that you can claim the £15 back from anywhere - Ebay, Currys, ASOS, AO, Samsung, Dell.
THE list of partners is endless.

Just make sure when you are purchasing anthing through completesavings that you turn off any content blockers or adblockers you may have on then your purchase should track

It depends on where you get the initial sign up from. You can't just get it from anywhere with newer subscriptions. It has to be from the original sign up website. My dad subscribed several years ago and he can do it from anywhere but I can't.

    Ahhh, thanks!

That is still awkward though. I mean, having to make a monthly purchase from a specified retailer is painful. Having to make a monthly purchase from ANY retailer is still doable, but well - that's how this game works!

Signed up via eBay to. On average buy at least 1 item from eBay a month.
For the monthly bonus, if there wasn't anything specific, I buy something insignificant that could be of use sometime in the future.
