Yeah 2nd pic is prolly correct although judging by your Heatsink on the CPU it could be placed on to that sideways and if it is then that CPU is going to be getting hot, either way you should have a fan in both places!!, its prolly easier to buy a new fan from ebuyer or dabs for £4-5 quid and youll get screws with it, and judging by the dust inside you might wanna get a dust filter, as that wont be doing you pc any good.

    :-)

thanks mate, are all fans standard size?

it belongs on the front of the heatsink

Make sure there is a fan facing directly on top of heatsink, otherwise CPU will fry! All fans are of varying sizes btw.

Wouldn't recommend using a dyson! You'd be much better off taking it outside and using an air duster can. They cost next to nothing: amazon.co.uk/Sta…1-3

take it apart then forget how to put back together, its a classic trick, I do it myself all the time. Let us know how many 'spare' screws you have at the end

It goes on the heatsink with the coolermaster logo (the one shown in pic 2) touching the fins. It should also be placed furthest away from the rear of the case.

    For example:
