Do you have a torrent or file sharing application installed and running on ur pc?

i think its your name everyone knows ur samwhitewick

Looks like you're connected directly to your Internet connection rather than a router.

I would change this straight away and get a router installed. You then just forward the ports you want access to for incoming data and the rest of it is blocked by default.

    connected to a router

Well lots of 'Attacks', as zone alarm calls them, are normal, although 3 million is an awful lot unless it's over a period of years.

If you're getting a lot from the same IP then you could do a whois on it and inform the ISP about it.

If your ISP gives you the choice you could opt for a dynamic rather than static IP address.

Have you put your PC in the DMZ of the Router? Unless you're opening ports (by requesting information) there's no way it can come back to you. All routers act as a natural firewall as they use NAT addressing.

    @ Blocked Intrusions.

It's making a big fuss over nothing, if it didn't you probably wouldn't keep buying the software.

Nice answer. Does the software not give you more info about the 'attacks'? May well be something relatively harmless...

If it's in the DMZ, take it out immediately as every single request/attack/etc sent to your IP will come to your PC and TBH, ZoneAlarm isn't Fort Knox - no software firewall is. It should be easy enough to configure the router to open ports directly to your PC on the network.. .....if you know what you're doing of course

The thing to bear in mind is that Zone Alarm is working, so don't panic!
