cheers for your input guys,

i really dont have a clue when it comes to comps, i an use them ut specs go above my head,

im not looking for a great PC, just a bog standerd one thats not too slow, and doesnt keep cutting out like my old one,

i could maybe get him down to 125 what that be a more reasonable price?

You can buy that sort of thing on the second hand market for around a third that figure, including a CRT monitor. If you have the skills, or fancy googling for PC building guides, you could build a system about three times faster than that one for about £50 less than they're charging.

Although, if you fancy paying a little over double and gettng something six times faster or more capacious in every category, drop me a PM.

TIME computer had a VERY bad reputation and eventually went bankrupt.

Time went bankrupt about 4 years ago so this is a VERY old computer and I would say this is probably a VERY BAD deal. Dont waste your money.

BTW, does the Time come with a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and any software installed ?

There was a deal on here a week ago for a BRAND NEW Dell sysem unit for only £139 that was FAR better than the pile of Time rubbish he is trying to sell you.

Here are some recent Dell offers at under £150. They have expired, but others will come along.

thanks guys, not gonna go ahead with it,

You lot have given great advice and im gonna go read up on it a little bit and wait for a hot deal to come up,

Thanks once again rep left

Yes, that one is probably worth £50-75, as others have said you can get far better PCs for the same price from online shops. The PC itself is 5-6 years old.

Think I saw Big pockets are selling complete systems with a 15" tft for about £150 at the moment

the one jocksteel mentioned

Too give you an example

I have an old PC, a Dell it's specs are

Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz
1GB Ram
Windows XP with a legit serial
Onboard sounds and graphics
Upgraded power supply (can't remember details)
40 GB HDD
DVD RW

I was only looking for £50 for that and can put a brand new 250GB HDD in for an extra £30

That's about what it's worth so £150 for the one your being offered is a con

£50!

better to splt it up and sell bits seperately. XP is worth £30-40 on its own.
