    computer help please re emails

    hi there i cant send or receive emails for some reason just suddenly stopped working, tried to get through to orange but in a queue, i can get on internet but when i send or receive emails i get this message

    There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Server: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR disconnect because server refused authentication', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

    anyone advise please ?

    I get this on BT sometimes. It could be at the server end if it has been working before and if you have not changed any settings. Have access through another computer and if so, does the same thing happen?

    It happens on any isp
    dont change your password or do anything silly
    just press cancel or press the X
    get out of there and try it in an hours time and it will probably work
    it could take all day to work again but they usually fix it in about an hour

    Same here, but working again now. Not many emails have come through though.

    thanks for answering folks, just got back frm the school run and working only two emails so far come through.
