Hi guys,

Helping my bro in law, his windows has become corrupt and he can't get into his documents, I've put his hard drive in my pc as a second hard drive and can copy stuff etc but can't get into his documents as their in his user folder which only allows him in if he is logged in, which he can't as the Windows installation doesn't work!

Only thing I can think is to transfer his user profile to my pc so he can log on? Is that possible? Or is there some other hack?

Thanks for any help!

Right click, properties, take ownership.

Windows XP, sorry should've said. Don't know if that makes a difference? Could you give a few more details please?
