Confusion with La Redoute

Found 6th May 2007
Just looking at my online statement, and am wondering if someone could clear something up for me. The latest statement (wont be sent until 24th may) says.......

Balance brought forward from previous statement £0.00
Payment received £0.00
Total items charged £0.00
Total items returned £0.00
Total adjustments £0.00

New Outstanding Balance -£9.50
Minimum payment due £0.00

Does that mean I owe them £9.50 or my account is in credit by £9.50? Looked at past statements but never had anything in new outstanding balance before

Just checked and the same is on mums account...

Balance brought forward from previous statement £0.00
Payment received £0.00
Total items charged £0.00
Total items returned £0.00
Total adjustments £0.00

New Outstanding Balance -£10.00
Minimum payment due £0.00

The confusing thing is, they took payment on both accounts and it was supposed to be refunded (after I called them), now it is showing as payment received £0.00, and the new outstanding balance is -£9.50/-£10.00 (depending on the account)

should mean you are in credit i have had this on my lxdirect statement when i cancelled an order but they still discounted on nothing .

Thanks, thats what I thought with it having a minus sign

Still doesnt make sense though, why isnt the payment received part being shown? Hope they havent taken the payment and then put credit on my account instead of refunding me, is better than nothing but I want a refund to CC really
