Connecting a mac book air to a Sony Bravia KDL40W5500U

Anyone know how to do this?

you need a SVGA (super vga)cable i had the same problem it wouldnt recognise via hdmi

Thanks for your help! but my laptop only has a usb slot and another which doesnt look like it takes pins!?

Thats neither use nor ornament, the Macbook Air has either a MICRO DVI Port or the Newer Mini display Port.

You Need an adapter from Apple then any old VGA/DVI cable should do the trick.

Depending on which model your Air Is.

Why do you want to do this anyway, I think the Air only produces a Mirror Output which will look shoddy on a big monitor/screen
