What connectors do your pc and tv have?

if they both have HDMI then yes of course. If no then you'll need a different cable.

What inputs does the TV have and what outputs does the laptop have?

If you go with HDMI-DVI, be advised you wont get sound, as DVI = Digital Video Input, no sound. you will have to connect the sound out through another source.
