Hi,

I need to get contact lenses because i always forget my glasses, anyone know who is better or is doing good offers?
I think i'm more interested about the service than the money i pay.

Thanks in advance,

thanks, do i need a eye test before i choose the contact lenses? Or is it the same eye test as my glasses, because i'm slightly confused went to one opticians he said the eye test was different for contact lenses!

Do yourself a favour and go to specsavers. That way you can see an optician whenever you have any problems. I have seen a specialist a few times now and this was part of the lense plan.

I would advise you to make an appointment and see a specialist and specsavers. They will look after you. I have tried many different lenses and if you are at a computer a lot then I would advise you to go for daily disposables. Mine are £22.00 a month but you can get cheaper.

You will need another eyetest/checkup before you start to wear lenses. They will probably give you a test pair to start with.

The lenses I have are the most comfortable I have had.

If you can afford it get some glasses too for backup. Some pretty funky ones available now. Compared to the NHS things I had to wear at school! They don't know they are born! :giggle:

Well I suppose it depends on the branch but they are 1st class here.

I have been to plenty of different opticians over the years, they are the best. Mainly because you can see them when you need too and the prices are very good too. They will send the lenses in the post too if you ask them. :-D

I go to my local Specsavers for glasses and eye tests but get my daily disposable lenses from www.daysoft.co.uk

They have an offer at the moment 3 month supply of lenses for £29.98 deliver is free and you get a free 4 day trial of the lenses, if you don't like them you can return the main order for a refund

Can't recommend them enough, cheapest with the best service.

SPECSAVERS!
YOU CAN also get em of specsavers direct
