I will of course pay them. Basically want to use my desktop through my CRT now I sold my LCD, I can use the Xbox but that means I cant watch Blu rays or play PS1 games cept on my TFT so want everything on one screen.

I can link to building guides, just means someone needs to have soldering skills unless someone knows a cheap cable.

heres the item no: 120434549044

theres quite a few on there.
as you can see from this link pinouts.ru/Vid…tml its not simply a matter of soldering a custom wire. there's a need for components to combine the sync signals to make them compatible. there's more info here mythtv.org/wik…art
Found an illustration...

Wouldn't a scart adapter & s-video cable be a lot cheaper?

be carefull if its for watching films cos dont think vga has sound. think painkillers post is best, you could alkways fit a svid card
with vga if I remember correctly data is actually sent in an array so its not just a singal as per scart, there is some level of basic encoding so any lead would need some level of electronics I believe.

I am assuming you have a pc to go with your pc monitor, perhaps a video "capture" card of some sort or tv tuner that has a video in might also work, you can then "watch" the live input from the games console, however if you want to watch bluray I cant think of anything worse than sending it via scart to be changed to vga... as you wont be able to gain hd resolutions from that, in fact the player is forced to criple the output if its analog.

Its the other way round I want, I want to get the pc onto a CRT tv, I dont mind losing quality for blu ray just want to watch them as Im happy with SD on a CRT so Blu Ray would be just as good.

Oh and the ebay numbers already shown, they are composite only not RGB, there is guides online that show you how to make one, there is about 6 different ways listed but I am useless at soldering.
