No.....and rightly so

I guess if there was special circumstances.

The best people to ask are the people that run the scheme, not randomers that are stuck indoors on a Saturday night.

Can exchanges can be refusedQuick Answer: Yes * If you have rent arrears, these must be cleared as a condition before your can home exchange. * If you have been served a Notice Seeking Possession. * If you have not kept to the terms of your Tenancy Agreement.* If the home you are wanting to move to means it will be overcrowded or under occupied * If you or a member of your family have had an anti social behaviour court order against you/them. * If the property was built for, or been adapted for a disabled person and you do not meet the criteria. * If the property has been designed for the elderly only and you do not meet the age related criteria.

you should contact your local council as different councils have different policies

Afaik you are allowed one spare room but again may be different for different councils

There are financial incentives for the person who is in the four bed, but if your kids are young enough ie both under 11 you may not even fill a three bed let alone a four, so think you might have a fight. Four bed properties come up as frequently as rocking horse poo!!
P.S would have serious reservations about a 4bed being offered on mutual ex, would check out the neighbours and neighbouhood!!!
I am in a 4 bed housing association repossesion and getting debt collectors nasty letters to previous tenant, and not very pleasant for my kids so be careful could be too good to be true???

Doesn't matter

You are allowed one bedroom for: * a couple * an adult aged 16 or over * any two children of the same sex under the age of 16 * any two children under the age of 10 * a child under 16

Op why are you looking for a 4 bedroom when you only need a 3?

genuine question as the answer could make a difference on whether you could get it or not

and the exchangee would they be overcrowded??
i mean i know rough areas you would prob be ok as they want to fill places...but i know down south this doesnt happen so call them monday and ask?

As suggested a few times, if you want facts, ask the right people.

Keep your hair on!!!!

jeeezzzzzzz, she was only asking a simple question, stop flaming her

by most council you will only qualify a 2 bedroom as your children are same sex.

Also 4 bedroom council houses are in high demand as there isnt many so i dont think the council would agree to it x
