Credit Card or Debit Card for us on Holiday Abroad

I am going to Berlin for my 21st Birthday in August. Only think is we are staying in a Hostel and I don't want to be carrying a lot of cash. So I need to have a Card I could use at the ATM, however I don't want to be charged for this!

Does anyone know of any Cards like this that they would recommend?!

I believe Nationwide doesn't charge for withdrawing money overseas.

Nationwide is no longer free unless you have it as your main account and put a certain amount in each month. Shame as it was excellent.

Was just going to say the same, you beat me to it.

I have a Halifax Clarity card for when I travel to USA and you dont pay a penny extra which is great.

Can use it like a cash card too, load it with money at brach then withdraw from it for free too

I definitely moved it to Deal Requests. If this moves back again, I'll revert to the audit log oO

you can buy those pre paid credit cards, not sure what they are like, i always take travellers cheques and cash. i know Santander , barclays, MBNA, Mint and Lloyds all charge for using debit/credit cards overseas and commission on top
