credit crunch

right i get that prices have gone up, but anyone else noticed that the quality has gone down also??

i bought some "perfect for home freezing" rolls from asda on thurs, opened them and that night put the other the others in the freezers. took out freezer last night, and left on side covered to defrost over night, went to use this morning and they already mouldy :s

then some jacket potatoes bought from tesco last wednesday, gone soft already. Rarr!!!!

We got some Nectarines from sainsburys on Tuesday and 2/3 of them were REALLY mouldy by Friday and the best by date was Saturday so my husband took them back and they gave us two packs in return. I did comment that that's just twice as many to go mouldy but we're doing OK so far.

Had some chicken from Asda and it STANK EEeeeewwww !!!:o Rang, they said chuck it keep packageing, went back 3 weeks later, they looked in diary for the day I rang, saw the note, Refunded no probs :-D give them a bell :thumbsup:

my mum has always had a problem with meat from asda in chatham, so god knows what its like now. as everything in ALL the stores seem to be poor quality at the mo

incidently tesco value banana's and apples etc. discontinued but they arent really they just chaged the name to tesco market value, and halfed the pack size and took couple of pence of the price;-)
