Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with cross trainers. Im looking for one but dont really want to spend more than £150. Prices range from cheap (£70) to very high(£ks)

Im just looking to lose weight and this has been reccomended for the cardio workout and the prices they sell for?

So anyone know of any good cross trainers, or had any experiences with them?

where do you live?

West London.

buy from ebay.

look at local items that didn't sell. then contact the seller with a cheeky offer.

buying second hand gives you a good chance of most of your money back when you come to sell it

Is there anything in particular I should look for, or do most do the same job? I know there are magnetic resistance ones, which tend to be the cheaper models. Are these ok, or should I avoid these? Are the cross trainers effective for weight loss, as the options were the cross trainer, bike or rowing machine. I thought the cross trainer would offer the best overall workout and is the closest to running without the treadmill.

how much do you want to spend on a secong hand one ?what yr budget up to

Well looking to spend between £70-£100 on a second hand one. Or a decent new one for about £100-150ish

Hi,

Just wondering if you ended up buying one? If so, what model?

I have seen the 'York Velocity Cross Trainer' in the Argos sale for £150.

I might end up buying one, although I'd love to find out what someone thinks of this model as I don't know what to look for.
