    hmm tricky one, u sure the letters u have are right? first thought was trough but doesnt fit with the A.

    I agree with Chicka, Trough seems to be the answer, I recon your A could be wrong?

    its trough- a is incorrect Trough (geology), a long depression less steep than a trench

    trough is the right answer, so the "a" is wrong.

    what was the clue that gave you the "a"?
