CRT 32" + TV with Freeview if possible

Hi,

I am trying to buy a new 32" + CRT TV (black if poss) with freeview built in if poss for my Nan and Grandad.

It has to be simple that is the key and work with subtitles teletext etc.

Any suggestion or advise would be appreciated as a trip down to Comet tomorrow looks likely... or should I try a curry's ?

Thanks

I am around to answer questions.

Cheers

Thanks this was for a CRT... I think that this is quite a hard task especially as everyone is now buying LCD TV's...

Thanks for your help and I'm going to have a look around today at least I'll know if 28" TV's are now the best I can hope for...

Thanks

Yes, sorry, I couldn't find a 32" CTR but gave links for what I did find because you didn't have any replies.
lol. Now I know why.

32" JVC with freeview (crt!) but its £329.99

Just checkout ebay mate for ones located near your postcode. a 32" can be had for under £100, easy.

ebay is ur best bet
lots of people gettin rid of their crt's
i got a philips 32" crt with glass stand for 65 quid! - had it for a couple of months - works perfectly fine

Why dont you want LCD? It's not expensive anymore. You can spend less than £450 on Samsung 32". I dont think it is a good decision to buy CRT because there is gonna be the world of HD now before Olympic 2012. Even BBC is going on trial soon. . . .

Oop!!!I have just seen that you can spend only 65 quid on TV... Um.. that is amazing!
If you can get that cheap, I recommend CRT.

Finally ended up in Comet... please its not my fault...

Got a Hitachi 32" widescreen and stand for £250.00...

Theres no way I could have got a similar LCD deal.. therefore ended up everyone happy... except me, who was trying for the best of all worlds.

Thanks for the responses and help in this.. HUKD's is worth its weight in gold.
