Currys are carp!!

They have taken two orders via the internet. They have have sent 'your item is being processed' emails. Then nothing. Having telephoned to enquire, I am now told that my item has been forward ordered and have to wait until 22 January. However, there is no gurantee that this will be honourned then. What terrible service.

I pressume you die hard bargain hunters will have had dealings with Currys and probably been similarly disappointed. I am still a newbie and quite niaeve, and feel very angry at this shoddy service.

Yep thats the one. What am I supposed to do whilst they decide whether to send it or not; the cynic in me suggest that they are keeping us on hold until all the competitors sale TV's have gone and they hope that we will just buy another from Currys.

Yeah, I ordered at 37" Toshiba from Amazon which is goin to be delivered on the 7th of jan, I hope Currys have let me know by then because I will be sending it back if the 42" one is comin from Currys!!!

Its not Currys fault they cant just magic the stock...it is a problem with manufactors promising them stock and then not ful filling there promise!
if your really that bothered get your money back...

i did a reserve and collect on something and when i drove 16 miles to get it, they had sold out!

Of course its Currys fault for taking orders for Out of Stock items without making it clear it is not currently available. :whistling:

I totally agree Currys have let me down big time, I paid for a 42" tv which they told me would be in the next day from there warehouse. But in the mean time they would give me the tv stand instead. Next day turned up to be told they had none in stock. So I asked for my money back and wouldn't return it till I returned the stand I drove all the way back home and then back to the shop. I was fuming...

Never had a problem with stock, but they've twice failed to pay-up for me on Quidco despite my orders showing as being tracked & confirmed. :x

Unfortunately not, check the small print of their reserve and collect service.
