Custom build PC - where to buy?

Hi,

I need a new PC and would like it to be custom built (can't find anything decent in shops). Can you recommend any online shops that let you pick ALL components and then build it for you?
I have already looked at:

cougar-extreme.co.uk/

and

pcspecialist.co.uk/

but not sure which one's better. Any other recommendations please?

Thank you :-)

]Mesh Computers is usually a good one, but it would be cheaper if you built it yourself...

were do you live,i build computers to any spec,i quote at cost plus £50 build fee

Yeah self build will be much cheaper and let you choose components. If you wanna give it a go post here a rough budget and lots of people will post a spec for a PC to fill your needs.

I don't trust Mesh Computers. They have 8GB Ram systems with 32bit OS... What's the point?

Novatech does custom build as well, so do CCLonline I think, and Light computers.

Cheers

Not always cheaper to self build, just bought a new basic system from dell, and wouldnt be able to build it for under £200.

Def try www.ebuyer.com, really good site.

Overclockers i heard bad things about customer service and Mesh, not had a good rep from what ive read about!!

but i would never buy DELL,self builds are better and do what you want, last post as 2 times i have offered my servicefor a mere £50 and no response to me.

GL with it all

Depends on personal preference really, Used Dell for ages had no problems and if its goes wrong can send it back, with self build you have to sort ya problem out yaself.

Maybe PM the guy, but others may offer there services for free, so then you got no chance

Thanks ramiuk. I am not looking for someone to build it, I CAN build it myself, which would be even cheaper. I just want the 12-24 months guarantee for repairs (I don't want the hassle when something breaks - recently I spent too much time fixing my current PC when it decided to die). And I don't pay cash, so can only pay a registered company.

Everyone else - thanks for the links!
