Cyprus wedding

Hi i am just looking to see if anyone has got married in cyprus or know any1 that has, As i am currently looking for the average cost people have paid.

We're looking into getting married in Cyprus too so would be interested in anyones experiences.

Saky0505 have you looked at , have spoken to them and they seem really good

We are going to a wedding in Cyprus in Ocotber and it is costing the best part of £900 for two of us to go for the week that includes the wedding. The wedding is in Nissi Bay, which, according to the travel agent is the nicest part of the island. The hotel we are staying in is the Adams Beach and the Wedding is in the Nissi Beach which is just along the street.

I haven't got married there but been several times (and am going back next wednesday lol).
Nissi beach is lovely but gets VERY lively in the summer.
It should be much nicer for a wedding in October.
Here are some reviews for the Adams beach - ]http//ww…tml

Saky0505 check out the Ayia Napa forum. It's pretty good and a lot of people seem to use it.
Someone usually has an answer to your question.
If you read through some of the posts, there has already been a lot of questions about weddings some you might find some useful info there

Mamma Mia

I got married in Cyprus four years ago, it was fantastic.couldn't tell you how much it was as my mother in law paid.

we were in paphos, very quiet.

We were married in Cyprus in May 2008. It was fantastic. We stayed all inclusive at Hotel Louis Phaethon adn i think it was approx £1500 for the 2 of us and my 10 year old son. The food, pool and hotel were excellent and i'm sure the wedding was part of the deal (if not, it was only an extra £250 or so - i can't remember exactly as we looked at several options.) We got married in the Town Hall in Pathos and all you have to pay for is extras such as photos, etc and a reception back at the hotel if you wanted one. There are many different prices for the buffet receptions and your wedding coordinator will let you know all the ins and outs beforehand.

I am getting married in Rhodes, in 52 days!!!
here: ]http//im…=wi
We paid £1900 for 4 of us 2 weeks in Rhodes and that included the wedding, we also have to pay for legalisation (£118) and translation (£120) of our certificates of no impediment and birth certs, apart from that everything is as a Uk wedding, you pay for your dress, suit hire, rings, photographer etc

Its alot less stress than doing it here aswell, I went through 1st choice and they basically do everything for us!

Good Luck xx

If youre in Paphos do check out a venue called the Vardas. It's right on the beach and the wedding room overlooks the sea. We were married at the Elysium hotel in 2005 but held our evening reception here. Owners name is George. The venue is stunning and the whole evening reception with a meze wine and open bar came to £1500 for 48 people. You should probably add 25% to that price now due to the poor £ to euro exchange rate. Good luck with your wedding
