    David Haye

Does haye deserve a rematch when his leg is mended? I think without that injury it would have been over by round 6!

    That is my thought too

Dont think his injury is as severe as commentators made out.
If he had ruptured his tendon he wouldnt have been walking around the ring afterwards when the adrenaline wore off.

He underestimated his opponent and paid the price.

I did want Haye to win but his defeat has put £300 in my pocket so cant grumble.

    Your most welcome

Didn't he have a broken toe in another fight? Does he self harm as an excuse?

It has lost me £20 but a potential £278 on an accumulator. I reckon it must have been fairly serious, they are talking about his knee ratter than his tendon, I can't spell the name of it that he shares with Brad Pitt! It was obviously pretty serious he looked like he couldn't walk properly!

I cannot stand Bellew or his accent but I will have to tolerate him on the news now! I was hoping he would be beaten and never heard from again!

Savagedonkey He did, but if your getting punched in the face for a job, I'm sure a broken toe would be pretty distracting!

haha glad you lost your bet. Well done Bellew - you put the arrogant, Cockney, has-been, mouthy idiot down on the floor where he belongs. Hopefully that's the last we see of Haye and he can go back to obscurity from where he recently came. He under-estimated Bellew at his peril abd his comments in the build up to the fight were disgusting and left a bad taste.

Nope respect to him for continuing on that injury the pain showed in his face especially when he throw punches and missed but rematch no way he should hang up he is way to injured. Bellew took some hard hits but at the end of the day couldn't beat a one legged injured man his confidence will drop when he sits down and thinks this though. No way should a rematch take place. Good to watch dog fight entertaining that's about it.

its grim up norf or so they say in london , how much did bellew win ?

    ?

Genuinely think Bellew gets a load of stick just because of his accent.

aww, poor david. tough luck really, chat **** get banged

If he ruptured his tendon it may have been due to the several barrels of the brown stuff that bellew was beating out of him. Haye doesn't deserve a rematch as the injury is part and parcel of what happened in the ring. It's like saying because he gave him a cut and couldn't see he deserves a rematch. Just part of the fight.

Thanks. I hope you lose money too,

Hmm this certainly puts some perspective on the comment I read in the title of the free viewing on sky if you made a five pound bet "bet on haye to win and you won't lose any money" post I read the other day on here
Haha well glad i didn't do that then

Might be because he struggled to beat a man on one leg
Do not think any of them came out of this fight with high credibility

I quite like the scouse accent. Bellew is a bit if a nob though. Over does the Everton link to the point of annoyance. Everything seems OTT with him.

Yes, you're a boxer. You have a favourite team. You love your family.

    We get it.

    You're doing your job.

    Haye should fight McGregor next

Does he deserve a rematch? Absolutely. Was well in the fight, arguably leading depending on whom you ask.

Will he get one? I doubt it. Age and lack of activity is an issue but achilles surgery recovery times are up to six months then you've got to get back into shape.

He's 37 this year. If he does come back then you're looking at a Bellew fight, although a tune-up bout would be better, and if he wins then you're looking at a trilogy decider. Basically you're looking at the best part of two years taken up fighting Bellew when he probably wants Joshua.

If AJ beats Klitschko then does he really fight Haye? Maybe a battle of Britain fight to end Haye's career then unify the division.

Sadly I think this is it for Haye. A massive talent who had too many injuries, probably wasn't focussed enough and in his last fight (possibly) gutted it out on one foot for five rounds.

im thinking perhaps david haye should fight jake the peg next or maybe any fighter as long as they're on a pogo stick , just think it may be a fairer fight then ?
