Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step

have you left it charging for a while, my nano took a couple of minutes to come up after leaving it for a while.

oh, and what happens when you connect the ipod to itunes?

If its any help apple will repair it for you and you can book an RMA through the apple website.

try the suggestions on this site wikihow.com/Res…Pod

if the holdng the Center button and the Select button (at the bottom of the wheel) for about 10 seconds doesnt work try holding down the menu button and the center button and the apple logo will come up
Immediately when the Apple logo comes up on the screen, hold down the play key and the center key together. it worked for my classic last time it died on me

if holding the center button and the play button for 10 seconds doesnt work, try holding the menu button and the center button, the apple logo should come up, then it should go to the menu and be ok (well thats what happened with my ipod classic)

also have a look through this wikihow.com/Res…Pod
