    dead/stuck pixel repair app (android)

has anyone used a pixel fix app on their smartphone before?

i have a few light spots (bright white)not sure if dead or stuck but read that you can dl an app that will test and attempt to repair

thought it might be worth a try but not sure if it might damage more

Yep, it looks like that is essentially the same as the apps you have linked. I don't think flashing colours quickly can do any damage. The idea is that if the pixel is stuck, changing the colours quickly might cause it to become unstuck. A bit like if you shake something that is stuck in real life.

Whether it works depends on whether the pixel is stuck or actually dead. I'd perhaps leave it running over night and see if it makes any difference.

If it's an iPhone, white spots normally indicate water damage
