Deals On Modern Hotels In Paris - Budget - £50 A Night

Found 30th Dec 2010
As above really.. Taking my fiancee there for her birthday and neither of us have been before... any reccommendations on hotels that are quite modern? alot on tripadvisor have really old style decor and thats not really my thing!

Centralish location or near a well connected metro line would be nice

That would be great if it wasnt a hostel
It has private (double) rooms with en suite bathrooms. I'm not sure how that is different to a hotel?

maybe it attracts large groups of noisey youths? lol i have no idea iv only evert stayed in one hostel and it wasnt pretty!
Fair point. Although I've been in Travelodges full of screaming kids that aren't much better.
Good luck finding somewhere - it will be worth it as Paris is lovely!
I'd recommend an Ibis. They have a lot of locations. The rooms are small but clean and perfectly formed. They can often be had on sale too if you look directly on their site. Enjoy your trip!
How close to the City Centre do you want to be? We've used a B&B Hotel in Malakoff which is a 15 minute Metro ride from the centre of Paris. The hotel is next to the station.

Try Timhotel, they can sometimes be competitive. However the cheapest Hotel is St.Georges Pigalle, which is very near to Le Moulin Rouge but the hotel is flanked by a sex shop and strip club (I booked the family in there a few years back, much to my wife's immense displeasure!)
doesnt need to be near the centre to be honest, i have hered the metros very good so near a station is fine
Look for Premier Classe, Formula 1, Etap and B&B chain of hotels. Budget accommodation usually located around junctions of the Peripherique (Paris Inner Ring Road), will be basic but cheap accommodation and all within walking distance of Metro station.
Have a look at RATP website for travelling details.
