Dear HDUK community- Out of these two TV brands which is the superior one please: Hisence or Goodmans Tv

Hi Guys, with young kids in the house and on their second TV disaster i will no longer buy high end branded TVs..
I noticed these 2 brands are cheap enough and wondered if either of them are any good please? Or shall i just go for the cheapest brand since it wont last long anyway! Looking at either a Hisence 50" or Goodmans 55".
Any feedback or advice greatly appreciated. Thank you x

Hisense are an excellent brand very good quality TVs for the price. I would avoid Goodman's

Not sure about Goodmans, but my brother has a Hisense 40" Smart 4KTV. Runs very well from what I've seen.

What will it be used for mainly?

Looking at argos for now then when i decide will google it for cheapest price

If you are not set on a specific set, someone posted a deal earlier for a Hisense 49" Smart 4KTV. Though it may not be not worth it if it will damaged again.

Goodwho? Sounds like a brand thats probably sold onto Vestel by now.

    Hisense all the way.

    Def not goodmans

Also checkout 'Techwood' and 'digihome' branded TV's (vestel) identical to the cheaper end panasonic TV's
after reading forums and great reviews online, I have purchased both brands of tv for brilliant prices andthey have been superb

Hisence it is. They have 2 yrs guarantee too which i didnt know!

For future reference, if your kids are breaking your TVs by knocking them over and whatnot, it might be an idea to buy some wall mounts and attach them a good five or six feet off the ground. As an added precaution, you could do the same with the TV.

They arent bothered about toys being taken away. My kids are weapons of mass destruction. They have destroyed everything atleast twice. Needed new chairs, dining tables, tv cabinets, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, display cabinets, curtain poles, car door handles, my laptop too once the night before a deadline! So much make up needed replacing just so much stuff i cant remember all of it. Even a new washing machine! They just handed me the washing machine door once too. They just pulled it off and it couldnt be replaced because of the force they pulled it off. I just needed a new one. For their first few years every one of my phones got killed.
On the bright side they have started school this year so am expecting a BIG difference. It didnt help that they were born after sept so they had to spend an extra year at home.

Loool believe me ive thought the same so many times. Great comment thanks for making me laugh xx

All I know is that I have a 150w Goodmans soundbar and it's an absolute piece of s*it.

usually i get a bit cringy when people dish out condescending advice but hell... try teaching your kids to behave?
you are the parent, why not try and raise some human beings with respect/manners rather than some rampaging beasts?
its not the schools job as you seem to think, its yours

I had two really good, well behaved kids then number 3 came along. Oh my. He is a weapon of destruction. He is currently throwing nappies at me. Clean nappies! Its normally his sisters toys, he lobs them then runs away giggling. Whirling dervish of chaos. But, I am thankful there is only one of him and I feel your pain.

They behave for everyone else but me. At nursery they are as good as gold. To the point they wont say a word all day! Nursery staff have been trying to coax yes please atleast during lunchtimes if they want food or whatever and even that doesnt work. They just nod or shake their heads. 2 Years each at nursery and staff havent heard them speak so if you have any effective advice the please do share it? Rather than just say "why not teach your children to behave?......"
Who said i havent been battling to? They are different children for other people.
