Decent 40 (or there abouts) inch tv

    Hi all.

In need of a budget to mid range tv. Ideally around the 40 inch mark. Will be used for standard definition tv, and a bit of ps4 play.

Any suggestions welcome. Ideally something that won't break the bank.

    Thank you

Probably max £300... although I know I most probably would be on the budget end.

Good price for this Samsung at Richer Sounds fit's your criteria and budget only drawback it's instore only.

Samsung's K6300 gets half-decent reviews, although the All4 app is missing and it's closer to £360 rather than £300.

There aren't many people doing reviews of a wide range of budget TVs so it's really difficult to tell how they compare.

Thank you. My current main tv is a 6 year old lg 32 inch £300 jobbie from back in the day. So I suppose any tv will be a noticeable upgrade.

Naive question, is it possible to get hdmi adapters to increase the number of devices you can connect?

Try eBay I bought my 43" Samsung j5500 smart tv there from tesco on eBay for £269.99 great tv said it was refurbished but there basically customer returns so brand new :-)

    That's a 40" smart Samsung £299

JVC 39" Curry's bout 200 or JVC 40" full HD 249 Curry's or I think there's a sharp 40" for 219 at tesco. think they all smart as well. hope it helps

Thanks. I have been in a Sainsbury's recently and found a 43 inch Celcus TV. I believe that Celcus is Sainsburys own brand, and although it doesnt have many reviews seems reasonable for the price. Looks like I would probably need a sound bar tho to complement it.

Failing that, they have a 32 inch Blaukpunt LED TV that seems to have favourable reviews.

    Thanks all for the help.

Celcius/Blaupunkt/JVC/Polaroid etc. are generally all Vestel Televisions.
