Decorating advice,,,which filler to use round an internal door?

    Hi
Decorating a bedroom tomorrow but i have noticed that there is a groove between my door frame and the wall. This is because i have stripped away some of the nasty paint that was there.
I have looked on b and q website and i am thinking of using something called unibond flexible decorators filler. Can someone tell me if this is what i should be using. It comes with a nozzle which seems like it will do the job. I will have to paint the door paint over the top if it and emulsion the wall up to the edge of it.
IS this OK or is there something better to use.
    Thanks in advance.

    I would just use polyfilla.

Use caulking.. its very easy to use.. if the groove is about 5mm or less caulking would be perfect and you just wipe it down with a wet finger...perfect ;O)

i use a dab of washing up liquid on my finger, seems to smooth it better.

thats what i use, cheap as chip and easy to apply

i agree decorators caulking is best, its only usually around a quid a tube and it stays flexible even when dry so when doors get slammed etc the filler stays put whereas polyfiller would crack & split.
