Delivery in time for Christmas?

Most of the websites are still quoting that delivery will be in time for Christmas, yet if we order today which is most likely the last posting date if using Royal Mail most places state "Shipping within 24 hours". If they're closed at weekends, then items won't be shipped out til Monday. Will this make it enough time for delivery by Christmas?

Apart from this, is anyone else finding Royal Mail slower to deliver than usual around now?

1st class post last day is Monday so you should

Because most will use couriers that pack and despatch on Monday and deliver Tuesday / Wednesday.

Royal Mail stuff has to be transported to the depot then sorted and then sent back out again.

I know it is according to RM website but mail seems to be moving slower than normal atm.

As well as that, you know how slow some of these Jersey stores can be.

Plus... yesterday I was noticing a lot of sites saying last shopping day "today, tomorrow, or Sunday"...

Now many are saying "Availaibility - In Stock - Shipping within 24 hours - We cannot guarantee Christmas delivery"

Not sure which other areas are getting this, I'm in Seaford East Sussex, but as of last week we are getting sunday deliveries from Royal Mail
