Ordered a vostro via quidco from dell earlier.

does anyone know how long they take to accept the order?
And when does quidco start tracking?

When i try to search it with the recpit and my email it says its not recognised yet i've got an email from dell with my order details.. i ordered around 6ish

Have you had the acceptance of your order email tomm...........it takes a while to update on the site though.

At the bottom it says
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an Order Confirmation, which will contain your customer number and order number.


But im sure it'd be processed by now?

It shouldn't matter, I received my confirmation pdf on my Vostro within an hour or so.

You might get the confirmation in the morning or it looks like you are going to have to give them a call.

My quidco's validated @ 11.65 though so maybe it must be accepted [Still hasn't accepted my order yet]

Try again at 9am Tomm to see if it ticks over on their system. If not then you can always try their live help system.

Sorry mate, just realised it's for existing customers only who already have their machine :-(. Here's their phone number though 0870 906 0010. They open at 9am.

Don't worry!

I bought a Dell at Christmas and it didn't track. I was gutted and contact Dell Customer Services to protest that the only reason I got a Dell was because of Quidco and that made it cheaper than an alternative HP. I also said that I had since read on websites like this that if I had called I could of haggled and got a further reduction.

Dell sent me a cheque refunding £45!

Gets better - I then raised a query on Quidco (didn't realise you could do that!) and that worked and I got a further £30 back, all off a very good price anyway!

TBH - Dell were the best Customer Service Department that I have delt with in a long time, and that Irish accent is just great!

It might be easier putting it in writing to them first - whatever you feel comfortable with.

Make sure you can find a computer that is similar (and most of all same price / cheaper) to justify your query!
