Bought a Dell mini 10 at weekend from Currys and it came with XP loaded.

As its brand new is there a cheap upgrade path to windows 7?

Thanks

No upgrade from windows xp to windows 7 from Dell.

Not a "free" upgrade, no. Cheapest way (if your not a student or have children who are) would be >£50

Well she should be eligible to the student offers that pop up from time to time.

For people that just want the windows 7 look. These will help you.

]XP to windows 7 look

]Vista to windows 7 look

If you want to go further and do a reinstall of your OS you could do an nLite'd version which will run faster and save space. Just look on google. (Remember if your doing anything like this make sure you back everything up)

All good for most people it seems like bragging rights. 'Oh I have windows 7, it's so fast!' But I can nLite Vista and win7 skin it and give it back to them and many people wouldn't know it didn't have win7 on it. They would say 'wow it looks so good and it's faster than with vista' Sad people!
