Cheers crossbow - not overly fussed about serious gaming

If you are buying it for surfing and playing videos etc a quad core with 4gb ram seems like serious overkill.

In that case, look no further than this for £220: ]Extra Value Desktop PC, Intel Dual Core E5300, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVDRW, NO OS (forum discussion ]here). You can use the Win7 RC for now & pre-order Win7 for ~£50.

And I can thoroughly recommend a 24" monitor. e.g. this for ~£150: ]BenQ G2410HD 24" TFT Monitor 1920x1080 300cd/m2 40000:1 (dynamic) 2ms 16:9 DVI-D/VGA Glossy Black. Or, if you'd prefer to stick with 22", there are several starting at ~£110.

And a ]£54 HD4670 if the need ever arose for some light gaming. This is arguably the best card that you can go for with the above PC that will not require a PSU upgrade.
