Dell laptop and desktop - are these good prices?

I just bought a couple of (refurbished) items from the Dell Outlet store.
Desktop = Studio xps 7100 for £484.49
This is an amd phenom x6 1035t with 6gb RAM. Not sure what graphics card - probably hd 5770 going by the spec on the dell site.

Laptop = Inspiron N 5010 for £426
This is an i5-430m with 500gb hard disk and 4gb RAM. Again not sure what graphics card - possibly a HD 5470.

I didn't really take time to get a firm idea of their normal worth due to the ambiguity of the full spec (Not much info on the outlet site when purchasing these). I am assuming these are at least a fair price.

Anyone with more knowledge care to speculate how good a deal was (or wasn't)?

Gah, made a few calls to Dell customer care and spent almost 45 minutes talking to various people.
Nobody can tell me what the exact spec of these two machines is.

Anyone know if you can cancel the order after the items arrive and you've inspected them?
Just thinking ahead in case the spec is lower than anticipated.

Search the service tags on the support site, that will tell you.

One service tag is not recognised and the other has no config info associated with it.
I'm currently on yet another call to Dell as I type this, on hold for ever.

I'm looking to buy a laptop - looking at the dell website the best price appears to be about £380 or so for i3-350m.

How did you manage to get a much better spec for just £50 more?

£426 excluding VAT I take it?

Including VAT.

I haven't opened the laptop yet as I might return it.
The desktop is actually amazing value for the money IMO.
It's got a HD 5770 card and a six core processor for less than £500.
There are no scratches, markings or any signs of usage whatsoever. Really happy with this, though I'm still peed off at their useless customer service people.

Worst customer service ever. EVER.
Seriously; worse than Pixmania.
