Good specs machine, not sure about the build of laptop as haven't seen physically. Try XPS as it may be stronger build and would be nice to have NVIDIA graphics instead. finger print reader is handy tool to have too.

The T9300 is one of intel's fastest core 2 duo mobile processors so it could cause the laptop to get fairly hot and drain the battery more quicker than a slower one. I don't know how much the difference is though.

Likewise the screen, it's a very high resolution for the size of screen so everything, especially text, is going to be rather small. It does mean you can fit a lot of stuff on it, and it'll probably feel more spacious than a lower resolution screen of the same size but this is another case where you shouldn't automatically go for the higher number. (on desktops, WUXGA is the resolution used by 23"-28" screens)

The graphics card is low-end but at £700 you're not going to get anything else.

If it suits you then it seems like a pretty good price for the spec.
