Yes both and spending up to £550.00. He will mainly be using PC for the Elgato card as he already has an all singing and dancing gaming laptop that was a Xmas present last year.

Couldn't reply earlier. It's not gonna be easy to get i7 PC for £550 as the latest i7 CPU alone costs £300-325. i5 is around £200 and supports Elgato card no problem. Just try contacting overclockers.co.uk by phone and tell them what you need. They can customize your PC. I bought two machines from them and recommending these guys to my friends.
Option number 2: contact scan.co.uk/3xs.
Option number 3 (CHEAP): for £379.99 you can get refurbished i7 PC here. Not the newest CPU, but will run everything you throw at. You can then buy a £200 graphics card for your son if he wants to run serious games at that PC.

Thanks for your reply ... but I ended up buying this Alienware Aurora R4 ... It is seller refurbished (Grade A) but I paid an extra £24 for 1 year warranty where they repair or replace.

Hope I made the right choice as i5 according to Elgato card spec is not as effective for 'Live' streaming so had to go with the i7.
Many thanks for everyone's comments and help, much appreciated and Merry Xmas to all
