Found 3rd Nov 2007
I've had an absolute mare.....

I have booked flights to new York between the 16-23 of December 2007 and found the right hotel deal, however that was last week and now the price on the Hotel has almost doubled!!!!

The flights are booked and the Mrs is soooo excited, I need help finding a 3 star min hotel in New York (near Broadway, but beggars cant be choosers...) for £500 there or there abouts!!!

Need your help or will be half the man i am now, or worse, if she finds out.....!

Cheers,

A embarrassed Biggy

hi
try www.nycsalisbury.com
we have stopped there twice and cant fault it at all. Clean, spacious, great breakfast! Its on W57th Street with a subway nearby, not sure about the prices tho so near to xmas.
I wouldnt worry about location as NYC is so easy to get round. get a hotel booked quickly with a "no cancellation fee policy" and at least you will have somewhere, you can always cancel if you do find somewhere else, but please dont leave it too long!

Surley there must be something out there that can save my bacon???

Anybody????

:-(

4* for £602 ]here but not sure if the location will be alright...

wolcott is a good one go to www.wolcott.com it is apparently new yorks best kept secret hotel, i have my sis booked in her for June

Think you are going to have to do one of these...
-go down to a 2 1/2 star
-get an airport hotel (as mentioned by sadiebabes)
-increase your budget
-share a bath/shower room (found one at a decent price but shared bathroom!)

This one looks ok, search for New Yorker Ramada Plaza on Expedia.
£615, 2 1/2 stars, 'across from Madison Square Garden ' (idont know New York though!)

lastminute.com/sit…gle

If link works and shows the search results there is rooms there from under £300 upwards, 3star ones are around £650

They come back quite quickly which allows you to then increase your price slightly.

Might be worh a go, think there used to be a Priceline Tutorial somewhere, not sure if it was here or on another site though.

deals.hotels.com/hot…rk/ another good place rooms for 2.5/3* start from £81 per night maybe bit cheaper
