Any recommendations which voice recoder to get, mainly for lectures. Budget £100. (I don't want to use phone)

I bought my daughter a dictaphone when she started uni two years ago for this very purpose, and it's still in its packaging. Turned out that her Uni prepares a copy of all the lectures which are printed and bound for each student at the start of each module. Might just be worth checking with your Uni prior to buying one.

any reason why you dont want to use a phone?

they are perfect for it, can share instantly to email, contacts etc

dont use your dictaphone. Use your hands like everyone else

use both

I know you said you don't want to use phone, but why not use an old one? Don't put a sim card in it though... Create then log into a new account.. Apple or Google.... Load on a free app to do the job.. Will cost nothing... You can back up recordings to the free cloud storage. Play recording via jack or bluetooth or use built in speaker.
