I never used to like roast beef (on a sunday), chicken etc etc as my mum usualy made them too dry (cooked the life out of them in the oven)

So instead of eating any of that i had a bowl of

Chopped apple and slices of cheese in the same bowl

weird or what lol

Banned

apparently sliced apple and cheese on toast is nice

Apple dipped in salad cream (this one came from having apple on salads)

Used to dip salt and vinegar crisps (particularly french fries) into lemonade then eat them and drink the lemonade

apple and cheese is gorgeous. it's a well known food compliment.

I used to eat ketchup sandwiches though!

now that is a tad strange...did you use to go on sugar rushes after? :-D

food is food at the end of the day and just as we all like different foods, we all eat it in different combinations so nothings strange, just probably not to someone else's particilar taste. mexican chilli receipes have chocolate in and I'd love to get my head round that one!

my sister eats peanut butter on toast with tomato ketchup, its discusting but she has eaten it since she was really young!

Did you used to cut them open, or just butter the smoother side?

We would have fish, I'd eat off all the batter/breadcrumbs and leave the fish, not like that now, and my kids aren't like that either, thank god.

I love the rolls that you get in Dundee, very soft floury ones, we used to have them with butter and syrup in the morning lol.
