Digital Camera Purchase Advice

I've been looking to buy a digital camera between £150-250 but I can't seem to decide. Closest camera I came to buying was the Sony Cyber-shot H55 which is 14.1 mp. But I found out that the memory cards for pictures and videos differ and I don't know if you can put in both at the same time. I wouldn't wanna exchange cards every time. Here it is :

Anyway I'm looking for a camera that can do both HD video and high quality pictures without any major drawbacks. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

i'd definately go for a panasonic lumix!
the TZ10 is apparently the best one at the mo and costs about £190-£200
i've just bought a panasonic lumix FS30 which was alot cheaper at £146 delivered (my budget wasn't as big as yours) and it's brilliant - 14 megapixel and 8x optical zoom
both the Tz10 and the FS30 record video in HD and use normal sdhc cards
HTH

absolutely - TZ series for the world (you'd think i'm on commission!!!)
