Digital TV and indoor aerial

My daughter is off to University soon and there is no aerial socket in her room. Any techies out there help me? If she gets a digital tv what does she need to pick up a signal? Someone tells me it's an indoor digital aerial? Where do I get one of those? About how much do they cost? Where do I get one from?
Also anyone know of a good value digital 19" or 22" TV with built in DVD?

If your daughter is in a strong signal area then any old tv aerial will do. My daughter has freeview in her room through an old aerial i was given when i got my first tv as a kid back in the early eighties.

I did buy her this TV AERIAL

It gets rave reviews but i found that it can only pick up half the channels that my 30yr old bit of plastic and metal can and thats turned up to the max, aerials pulled out full.

If she's in a weak signal area then really only a rooftop aerial is going to do it.
