Yes, also told him i will take legal action but he does not seemed bothered, the last 2 emails i sent to him have not been answered

Looks like they have a stand at the gadget show live in Birmingham - get yourself tickets and make a fuss.. shouting about there service etc.

Time to go to citizens advice, and trading standards. Send them a letter detailing that you are now seeking legal advice. Tell them you have informed watchdog etc etc. Kick up a massive fuss and see what they do. Out of interest, what are they holding onto, why do they have it, and what is their excuse?

In case info is useful here is some links I found.

Has Company House info, possibly a head office or holding company that will not be impressed by the attitude?

    avforums.com/for…tml

I mention the latter on the basis that comments about problems unadressed may not impress his peers on the forum.

Same applies to any other place he advertises or frequents.

Trading Standards might want to know, the more complaints about non provision of services as advertised, the more likely they will decide to teach them a lesson as an example to other rogue traders.

I acknowlege that I only have one side of the story at present, so I am not judging either way, just supplying info.

If you did business from an inducement on the website, then the ISP/Host might want to know as they may not want to host a scam site.

If you contact the Gadget Show hosts, you might be able to point out that they are allowing a problem merchant on their site and get them to intervene (not likely I know).

Perhaps the best bet is as suggested by Captain hook, go physically to their stand and start off by being polite, but be prepared to embarrass them.

Have some hairy biker mates in the background in case it gets physical.

It was a popcornhour it cost me £206 and went wrong after 13 months, i asked nicely if they would do anything about it as 13 months is not a long time especially when i only use it 2 hours a week, sorry was the answer my hands are tied. I then gave him 7 days to do something otherwise i would take legal action, on the seventh day he replied and said he would get it repaired or replaced but as a jesture of good will, he also opinted out that i would not win if i took legal action, so i sent it back that was almost 3 months ago, i have asked how long it will be and have had no reply.

Bull, you have six years with the sales of goods act, and as he has accepted it back, he has acknowledged it is faulty and is now liable to repair or replace within a reasonable time frame.

f your goods are not satisfactory you may be able to make a claim for up … f your goods are not satisfactory you may be able to make a claim for up to 6 years in England and Wales and 5 years in Scotland after the purchase of your goods, for a refund, repair or replacement.

Time to get on to trading standards and citizens advice regardless of what they say now tbh.

I mentioned this to him, dont get me wrong i was very nice when i emailed him and expected a posative response from Alan the guy who seems to run the company, however i was most suprised at his attitude. I feel like going to his premises, how can a company like this be so poor, i can,t find any way to warn other people of this companys bad customer service.
