    Just wanted a little advice if you dont mind, i bought something on ebay, havent got the item and its been 2 weeks, supposed to be sent via recorded delivery (£30 of goods)
    got a message from the seller yesterday morning saying she cant find the item - and shed have a word with her hbby and get back to me later that day.
    I sent her one back saying can she let me know whats going on as there a bday pressie - there actually an xmas pressy but im trying to hurry her as ive waited long enough already!

    So, she didnt actually get back to me, so i sent her another message 1st thing saying whats going on. Nothing again, and i know shes been on as shes been leaving peoples feedback.
    Shes got good feedback so im not worried too much, but its starting to nag a little at me now!

    Its got the £500 protection thing, so will i definatly get my money back?

    I would have started a Paypal dispute after 10 days, don't leave it too long or you could be too late. You have a total of 45 days from the day you paid.

    Yeah, im going to give them until monday, ive not really got shirty with her yet.
    I think shes trying to pull the "ive lost them" line as i dont think they went for as much as she wanted.

    Shall i just raise a paypal dispute? As its getting near the time where i cant make a dispute and i want my money back, shall i also put a complaint into ebay as they were supposed to be sent recorded delivery.
    I dont actually believe her, and i dont think the items went for less than what she wanted for them.

    Raise it anyway, it could be her time wasting to cover her back over the 45 day period, and who is to say that the cheque will clear.
    Get that dispute up and running and if you do eventually get the money you can sinply cancel the dispute BUT dont cancel it until you know you have the money.

    Without looking at the item number or seller I'd guess they are not a very experienced seller. If they send you a cheque you can still file a complaint with Paypal. They should use the 'refund' button in Paypal, that way they will also get their Paypal fees back.

    I would give it until Wednesday for the cheque to arrive, if it does not, then start a dispute and escalate it straight away. No point in messing about with emails etc.

    No point in contacting ebay, they will not do anything.
    Don't forget to leave a Neg, use the HK site for a longer feedback but not until you have been refunded.

    Ive only made one claim before via paypal, and that was 2 years ago.
    Your allowed 2 a year, but ill really hate opening them, as itll put me off shopping on ebay for risk of it happening again :-(
    Im actually a little upset as i really wanted those items for my little boy :-(

    Steve, there feedback is 586 with 99.3%, noones saying they havent got the goods, just moaning there crap or something.

    I dont think i dare leave a negative, bcos shell leave one for me, and im not having my 100% tarnished.
    I actually really dont believe her, she should have the recorded delivery slip.
    Ive never sent anything to the wrong person. No matter how many lots ive had to sent :-(

    It used to be three Paypal claims a year but now there is NO limit to the amount of claims you can file.

    If you don't leave a Neg this could happen to somebody else. That's the whole idea behind leaving feedback. That's up to you of course.
    I have about 20 negs in total on all of my ID's, most are just retaliatory and they don't bother me.

    Tarnishing my 100% will hurt though!

    I left negative for someone before, they left it back, so i made a new account.
    Therefor i have 2 accounts, i wont use my old one as its imperfect 239 @ 99.3%.

    I left negative on this account, they left it back for me, so i contacted ebay, who removed what id left and what they had.
    Ebay really isnt a fair place at all.
    Shall i just raise the dispute now? I really dont want a cheque.

    One of my ID's has been a Powerseller six times. I use this ID for odds and ends etc and I only use it when I can be bothered, it's mainly for buying with. Anyway, 6 negs on that ID and it's not affected my buying or selling.

    That is wrong. It HAS been changed, trust me on this. I cannot find the Forum Message from Kim but it changed around May this year.

    Ive raised a claim anyway guys, will keep you posted, has to be resolved within 20 days anyway.
    I will raise the ebay dispute if i feel the need when its sorted.

    Just to update, i raised the dispute on paypal at approx 1pm, by the next day, she hadnt replied to the dispute, but had been on ebay listing things and leaving peoples feedbacks.
    Id left messages for her on ebay which she didnt bother to reply to!

    So, as she didnt reply, ive escalted the claim, and she still hasnt replied at all!
    She has to reply by the 8th or the moneys mine again

    And, shes sent me 2 messages via ebay today, i dont get her at all
    First of all i got one from her saying, im really ill i cant leave the house!
    Then another saying im trying to send you a refund via paypal (So surely she must have logged in!) i need your email address, shes a really crap seller, i know theres a refund button!
    Im not even going to bother replying to her, shes wasting my time, shes planning on just sending me money thru paypal i think instead of clicking refund, but then ill have to pay fee's which isnt on as ive recieved nothing!

    I havent raised anything with ebay yet, ill wait till i get my refund back

    If the seller has no money in their Paypal account, then maybe she is going to 'send' you a payment, because you cannot refund a payment from a Credit Card.
    I don't have a Bank linked to my Paypal account for paying, but I keep a float in there in case I need to refund a buyer.

    Im just going to leave it to paypal, she lied about the cheque as we thought, obviously stalling for time.

    Oh well, itll get sorted soon im sure, im just not replying to her anymore, unless its through paypal.

    It's because her Paypal account is frozen to a point. She needs to refund you asap and sounds like she does not keep a 'float' in there. This would be the quickest way for her to pay you back but why should you have to pay fees?
    You could add the fees (3.4% & 20p) and then give her your email address. You would need to cancel the dispute, this payment wouldn't cancel it automatically.

    Haha now thats funny, amazing that cos her accounts frozen she can contact me 3 times in 1 day, when before, it was once every 2 days if i was lucky!
    Not going to bother, ill let paypal kept it frozen, and refund me in just over a weeks time, shes got stuff to sell on ebay at the mo - so shell be panacking.

    I just really dont believe shes sent them somewhere else, she wont give me any proof, and i was upset as it was an xmas pressie for my little boy.
