Dipetane fuel additive - anyone used it?

Has anyone ever tried this, and if so... how did you find it, was it useful?

I use Redex for my Diesel van. You can pick up cheap when on offer and about 2 months before mot I start using the super diesel. Seems to pass the emission test fine where as before it would want blasting along motorway to clear out. Garage was having trouble with van emissions. If you do most of your driving on the motorway I don't think you need to use. Round town cokes up engine. Only my opinion based on experience. I'm not in the motor trade.

I have used Redex petrol in my old 13 years old Toyota Corolla Verso, definitely runs smoother and gain between 10-15% better fuel economy. have used that on every refill for over 3 years.

Just sold that car and now has a diesel, just tried for the first time using the Redex diesel, immediately noticed how smooth the car is. This is not conclusive, as I've only done it once on the new car.

If you're a Costco member, they sell them quite cheap (around £14 for 3 large bottles). and they recently had an offer with an extra £1 off
