Direct Debit Virgin Media

My first direct debit was meant to be taken out of my account on the 15/10, but I just checked and it still says payment due. My online banking says the direct debit has been set up and there was a payment request on the 15/10 but no money has been taken. Anyone know what the deal is or will I have to phone in the morn?

phone
maybe they didnt get enough time to set it up and take payment assuming this is the first month
what they should have done (assuming this is the first payment ever) is tell you to make the 1st payment bu card and the rest will come out by DD
which is what they will say tomorrow

no probs

Keep an eye on virgin and dd's. They took £350 instead of £35 and then took 6 weeks to give me a refund. Asked why and was told a computer error. Cable box and modem were left outside my house in bag and told them to collect them if they wanted them back.
