Just done some painting... cleaned the brush and paint tray.... now what do i do with the white spirit?!!?

White spirit is highly polluting, dont put it down the drain, take it to recycling centre witht the next load of junk.

The enviroment agency take a dim view of pollutants being tipped down the drain.

I pour mine into a large jar with a lid, let the crud settle to the bottom, then decant the clean stuff into another jar.

All depends on the quantity really. If he's only disposing of a 100ml or so, there's no issue as it will be heavily diluted.
